Prem has almost 25 years experience in sales and marketing, managing different product lines ranging from lighting products, consumer electronics with Philips and commercial vehicles with Tata, as his most recent former position. A graduate of the University of Delhi, Prem is also co-chairman of SIAM (Society of Indian Automobiles Manufacturers) logistics committee.

A graduate of Delhi College of Engineering, Mr. Kalsi has worked with Maruti Suzuki since inception, across quality assurance, vehicle inspection, sales and new business strategy and development. He was actively involved in component localization and instrumental in forging alliances with finance and insurance companies, namely the launch of Maruti Insurance, Maruti Finance and Maruti Driving Training Schools.

Shailesh has over 15 years in experience in the automotive industry, beginning his career with Britax Motherson in 1996 after graduating with a degree in production and industrial engineering. He also completed his masters in business administration and worked with Tata Cummins as purchasing manager till 2004. He joined General Motors in 2004 as senior manager in India, before moving to General Motors United States in 2008 as Global Commodity Manager- Power train. He has been in his current position since July 2011.

Kalpesh is responsible for the supply chain management of Fiat/Tata Cars and Fiat Powertrain. Before joining Fiat, he was the head of Supply Chain Management at General Motors India. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidhyalaya and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan.

Anand holds an Honors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a post Graduate Diploma in Management from Delhi University. He worked with Tata in the Direct Marketing and Sales of Earthmoving and Construction equipment for over 16 years with Tata before joining Hyundai Motors in 1998, as their Southern Regional Sales Manager. He currently heads the logistics team for both domestic and exports and is responsible for finished vehicle logistics as General Manager.

Milind has over 29 years experience in design and development, logistics process planning, in-plant facilities and manufacturing engineering. He is currently in the demand chain management function, with the Centre of Excellence for Packaging established in May 2010. He is an expert in packaging development and was involved in the planning and implementation of logistics systems for the Scorpio and Logan model launch.

Nidhish is a mechanical engineering graduate with 16 years of experience in materials and supply chain management. He gained experience with leading vehicle/auto component manufacturing companies like Mahindra Renault, Tata Auto Component Systems, Eicher and Jay Bharat Maruti.

Satkar is an engineering graduate with an MBA from the Management Development Institute in Gurgaon. He has undergone extensive training in logistics and materials management across Suzuki Plants in Japan and spearheaded many key assignments spanning across outbound, inbound, in-plant and export logistics in Maruti Suzuki. He is now focussed on key projects in the manufacturing area.

Suhas is part of the Indian Railways Traffic Service, and joined Indian Railways in 1979 working in the commercial, operating and safety departments. She also has experience in multi-modal logistics, seconded to the container corporation of India, and worked on the development of the Freight Operations Information System, which tracks the movement of freight trains online. She was trained abroad in England, Paris and Italy across multi-modal logistics and train systems.

Vinodha, BE and MBA, has 18 years of experience in varied fields including control systems design, software design and development, business planning, business process re-engineering and launch management. At present she is handling supply chain management and service publications out of India for the Asia Pacific Region.

Achal, a member of the SIAM Logistics council, graduated in mechanical engineering, and completed a post graduate in management. He specialises in delivery quality improvement and transit risk mitigation, and presently heads the commercial and logistics functions of Honda’s car business in India. He has been in vehicle logistics since 1996, previously working with Maruti Suzuki.

Hitesh joined Delphi in 2004, and has held multiple regional leadership roles in various divisions at corporate level within logistics. In his current assignment in China, Hitesh is responsible for Delphis Asia Pacific logistics processes. Prior to joining Delphi, he earned his MBA at Binghamton University and is also a ‘Rule 9’ certified Custom House Agent.

Mr. Seetharaman, MBA, has over 20 years experience in the industry. He joined Maruti Suzuki in 1987 and has served in various areas of vendor development, supply chain and spare parts and accessories. He has undergone training in Japan on supplier development and quality and problem solving techniques. In his current role as General Manager (Parts), he has played a key role in various initiatives in spare parts on inventory management, warehousing and channel development.

Ravi graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in manufacturing engineering. He has been working with Maruti Suzuki for the last 18 years in the areas of project planning, monitoring and execution, process planning, and the setting up of machining lines for engines. He is currently the General Manager, Production Logistics with the responsibility of making strategies and systems for outbound especially in rail, inbound and interplant transfers.

A graduate of engineering, Jogalekar began his first work was in 1977 working in a production shop of small stationery diesel engines. He then began a career spanning over thirty years with Tata Motors. His first role was in the manufacturing plant, working in material procurement, production planning and quality assurance, before moving into his current role in after sales and spare parts in 1999.

Jasjit is an alumni of Harvard Business School, Amity Business School and Punjab University, Chandigarh. He is the President of the Delhi Roundtable of CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals); Member of CII - National Logistics Council; FICCI National Committee on Infrastructure. Heading TCI, he is renowned for his leadership position in Indian logistics, covering freight, express, shipping and contract logistics.

Deepesh leads IHS Automotives activities in the Indian sub-continent. He has over 10 years of experience as an automotive industry analyst and consultant and is considered as an expert on the Indian automobile market, quoted widely in the media. He regularly speaks at public forums related to the industry and holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in International Business.

Kenny holds a leadership position in the automotive group of marketing and sales, working with customers and manufacturers to improve their supply chain competitiveness worldwide. He manages a revenue base of over $500 million in annual sales globally and has held positions of increasing responsibility since he joined UP in 1994, including Senior Business Director and Director of the Market Development and Sales Center.

Following studies in business administration at the German Foreign Trade and Transport Academy in 1995, Robert has worked in the logistics industry, predominantly within contract logistics. He is responsible for the automotive division at BLG Logistics and successfully sourced sites for the company in Malaysia and India. Prior to this he served 7 years with Lexzau Scharbau in Bremen, in which he spent 5 years in Thailand setting up their subsidiary, Leschaco Thailand.

Thomas is the regional director for Geodis Wilson in the Asia Pacific. He is a seasoned logistics executive with over 30 years experience. He has held country management, regional and global positions with companies such as Circle International (today CEVA through the EGL acquisition), Panalpina and most recently UTi. Thomas is based in Hong Kong and lives with his family in Singapore.

Steve's early career included working with Sears, Philips and Pepperl+Fuchs, leading groundbreaking applications of technology in the areas of process automation, robotics, production, distribution and logistics. In 2000 he saw an opportunity in the niche segment of Finished Vehicles Logistics, and developed an all-new product, built using object orientated technology and designed to run on the major platforms, used worldwide by Volvo Logistics Corporation, Broekman, Groupe CAT, Rolf and Arkas.

Arun holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a masters in business administration. He founded Ckdpack in 1999 to focus on supplying returnable and disposable packaging to automotive CKD and parts exporting OEMs and tier ones. He created the innovative returnable, collapsible and environmentally friendly packaging container for international shipping and outdoor storage of automotive CKDs and components.

Vipul is the Chairman and Managing Director of Mercurio Pallia Logistics in India ever since the joint venture inception between Gruppo Mercurio (Italy) and Pallia Transport 3 years ago. This JV transports the finished vehicles for almost all the car manufactures in India, with GEFCO as a stakeholder. Mercurio Pallia also has a facility to manufacture trailers. Vipul is a graduate of Delhi University and has worked in transportation for almost 20 years.

Based in Singapore, Rinaldy is responsible for the strategic development, growth, and profitability of APL Logistics’ automotive business in Asia and Europe. He has garnered more than 15 years of experience in automotive supply chains from working for a leading OEM in Europe as well as global 3PL outfits in China and Singapore.

Fluent in four languages, and holding an MSc in business systems, analysis and design, Pranil is currently the president of CHEP India. He joined CHEP in 2004 as director for six sigma and quality, after 10 years with General Electric in the Netherlands, Spain, and the US. Pranil is currently spearheading the growth of CHEP through its supply chain in India, working closely with various government and industrial bodies that influence the growth path of Indian packaging.

Subir has over 10 years of experience in transportation and logistics with a strong understanding of the logistics Industry, infrastructure and end-to-end logistics solutions. His expertise spans across supply chain mapping and optimization, and business planning and expansion strategies, including managing infrastructure planning for a 3PL and producing business plans for logistics parks and ports.
